Our offering includes the preparation of plans and necessary documentation as well as submission and monitoring of application to conclusion.

Advice on all levels of planning from basic site planning concerning rights to land and property, to township and strategic planning for large scale developments.

We will represent clients at Hearings and Appeals when the need arises.

Project facilitation with communities and interested parties is another invaluable service provided by our consultancy.

The team at Leyden Gibson Town Planners has specialist urban planning knowledge, years of experience and a passion for town planning. We always strive for the best advice and service for our clients and colleagues with their interests at heart.

Leyden Gibson

Leyden Gibson established the consultancy firm in 1992 and remains the principle member.

She obtained her diploma in Town and Regional Planning from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee (DA TRP) in 1974 and became a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 1976.

She furthered her studies at the University of the Witwatersrand gaining a GDE in Transportation Planning in 1991.

In 1992 she became a member of the SACTRP and SAPI.

Velile Masuku

Velile Masuku joined the consultancy in 2008 as a student.

He is now a fully qualified town planner after obtaining his diploma in Town and Regional Planning (N.Dip) in 2010 from the University of Johannesburg.
